The EMR Jr Wolves Tackle Football organization hosted their 2nd annual "Field of Dreams" event at the Arizona Rattlers Stadium (Gila River Arena) on Saturday, April 25th.  The event offered the opportunity for the Wolves players to play a tackle game on the Rattlers field inside Gila River Arena before the Rattlers game against the Tulsa Oilers.  The 10U and 12U squads for the Wolves split into Team Blue and Team White and competed against each other in two scrimmage events.  The scrimmage was followed up with an opportunity for the parents and family members of players to square off against their student athletes in a game of two-hand touch.

For the 10U squad, Team Blue, led by head coach Ed Saldana, was able to pull out a win against Team Blue (led by Coach Kyle Bayley). For our 12U team, Team White (coached by OL/DL coach Joey Strobel) was able to win the turnover battle against a pass heavy offense led by Coach Gilboe. In the parent/player matchup, the players claimed bragging rights for the season over the parents. 

After the scrimmage, the EMR Jr Wolves Youth Tackle Football organization was invited to watch the Arizona Rattlers as they took on the Tulsa Oilers in a nail biter of a game. A special thank you to Tyler and the rest of our Arizona Rattlers family for helping to put together another memorable event for our student athletes and families.
