The 10U EMR Jr Wolves Tackle Football team has qualified for the AZYFL Spring 2026 Division II playoffs. The team finished 4-1 against other Division II teams, scoring 99 points over the 5 game series. Comprised of a mix of 8, 9, and 10 year old players of varying experience levels (35% new to tackle, 60% in 1st year, 5% 2+ years), the team is led my a coaching staff with 20+ years of experience coaching high school and youth football teams.  The team has a strong focus on fundmanetals, sportsmanship, and family and has been a contributing factor to their success this season.  The Jr Wolves square off against division rival B&G Prospectors in a rematch of their week two season matchup.  In their initial meeting in week two on the road, the Wolves came out on top in a 19-13 victory.  The week one playoff meeting will be at 4 PM, May 2nd at Agua Fria High School in Avondale.  A win on May 2nd will set up a matchup May 9th between the EMR Jr Wolves and either the #1 seed OC Elite or  #8 seed AFD Warhawks.
